SENATOR LAUZEN NAMED "CHAMPION OF FREE ENTERPRISE"

AURORA: Illinois State Senator Chris Lauzen has been named a "Champion of Free Enterprise" by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Senator Lauzen received the award because of his outstanding voting record on employment issues in the Illinois General Assembly and is one of 25 legislators who qualified for this year's award.
"Strengthening our local economy and providing employment opportunities has been at the forefront of my efforts," Senator Lauzen said. "The 25th district enjoys a healthy business climate that continues to enhance economic growth."
Senator Lauzen was recognized for his efforts to promote employment and foster job creation in the state for the benefit of Illinoisans in providing economic opportunities. Only legislators with Illinois Chamber ratings of 85 percent or higher during the last three General Assemblies are considered for the award.
